IndoPacific Gaming appoints Australian distributor for Currency Equipment

IndoPacific Gaming (IPG), a leading distributor of gaming and casino products for the Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Maximum Gaming as its distributor for IndoPacific Currency Equipment to clubs, hotels and casinos in various Australian jurisdictions.

“South Australian based Maximum Gaming is a well established and reputable supplier to gaming venues throughout the region, and we are pleased that they will now distribute our increasingly popular range of Currency Equipment,” said William Redshaw, CEO of IndoPacific Gaming.

The currency equipment, some of which is manufactured by leading USA company Cummins, is already well established in the New South Wales club market. IPG’s Currency Equipment is also experiencing strong sales in the Australian casino sector.

David Bolton, Managing Director of Maximum Gaming, said “We are excited to be able to offer such an extensive range of quality currency equipment through our relationship with ICE. Our dedicated team of professionals in the gaming and bank market are keen to present the value of the product to gaming management in Australian clubs, hotels and casinos.”

Products include coin counters, dispensers and sorters, change machines and note counters, as well as clearance systems. The range of options available also enhance existing equipment such as coin clearance systems.

For instance, the Cummins Universal JetScan™ Currency scanners handle as many as 10 different country currencies, and can process up to 1,200 notes per minute.

“JetsScan™ products are far more useful than just currency counters,” explained Mr Redshaw.

“They process mixed denominations without pre-sorting, and display the information on its illuminated panel.”

The currency scanners track individual counts and values for every denomination, and can be used to “face” and “orient” notes, so that all currency is in the same direction. In addition, while counting one denomination, JetScan™ stops if another note is processed. So a $5 note is never counted as a $20.
