Roy Rice of MVT Canadian Bus Re-elected to Ontario Public Transit Association Board
With MVT Canadian Bus since 2011, Rice has worked in the transportation industry – both in the public and private sectors in Canada and the United States – for 36 years, beginning his career in 1978 with the Toronto Transit Commission as a vehicle operator. He has been involved with OPTA since 2008 and a board member since 2012. Rice is also a member of the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Board of Directors.
"I am excited to continue as a member of the OPTA Board of Directors. I am passionate about public transit here in Canada and OPTA provides a platform from which to promote and advocate for public transportation and the use of public-private partnerships in transit delivery," said Roy Rice. "I thank OPTA for re-electing me to the Board and look forward to another term."
