WH Security now offering image sensor technology

WH Security is excited to announce their new product offering – image sensors through alarm.com. Image sensors are an upgrade to a traditional motion sensor. A motion sensor detects motion in a home, and its function is to activate an alarm if necessary, if the security alarm is activated. A motion sensor is designed to detect intrusion in your home.

Image sensors detect motion in a similar way, but instead of functioning to active the alarm, they take a photograph. Image Sensors allow you to interact with your home and security system in a more meaningful way. Photographs are taken when motion is sensed, and also at any time you direct your system to take a photo. These photographs are easily accessed through WH Security's app, or through a computer at any time.

There are many ways in which this is useful. If you have a child coming home after school while you are at work, it will take a photo when he or she has entered the home. You can check to be sure everything looks ok and he or she is coming home alone. The same goes for when you want to check in and see what is going on at home. A sample scenario is to put an image sensor in your living room in view of the couch and TV. If you have children home alone in the summer, you could check in periodically to make sure they are not watching TV the entire day. Another idea is if you have pets home during the day, and want to see what they are up to. Simply direct your motion sensor to take a photo and see what they are doing. You can also choose to change settings on these sensors, and direct it to take a photograph every time motion is sensed.

Image sensors from WH Security are an excellent way to keep in touch with your home and family while you are away. They provide peace of mind and functionality, with a minimal cost. Image sensors are an add-on to a basic security system, and are popular with WH Security customers.
