Decula, Georgia, Author Publishes New Novel
"Ask anyone on the street if they know about the infection control department in their local hospital, and they will most likely say they never heard of it." After reading "INFECTION CONTROL: Breaking the Rules" by P. V. Smith, a retired infection control nurse, you are sure to learn the ins and outs of this essential hospital division.
There are two sides to the Infection Control Department in New York City's Justice Medical Center and both of them have secrets. First there is Natalie Sinclair, the Director of Infection Control, who is always putting the hospital's needs before her own. Natalie is well-liked and respected, so you have to wonder why she is keeping a secret about her health from her staff and family. Then there is Brandon Saunders, the Hospital Administrator, who is only looking out for himself. When the bacteria C. diff starts spreading among patients and threatens the hospital's reputation, Brandon can only think about how it will affect his career. Like Natalie, Brandon is also hiding a big secret, but only one of them proves to be deadly.
