Richard Smith, CEO of Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS®, initially contacted the American Cancer Society to establish the relationship when two of his employees were diagnosed with breast cancer. "Our partnership with Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS® is one of the best the ACS has," said John Kyger of the American Cancer Society. "They were one of the first companies in the country to implement commission-based contributions to support cancer research, and the impact has been tremendous."
According to Kyger, for every dollar raised, about one-third is spent on patient services, 42 cents goes toward research, and 27 cents toward public education, such as the importance of mammography and breast self-examination.

From annual sponsorships of the Making Strides Walk, golf tournaments, raffles and even a recent "Shootout at the CB Corral" – a fundraiser held at a indoor shooting range," "We are constantly amazed at the efforts of our team."
The company credits its sales associates and staff for their tireless efforts and passion for getting one step closer to finding a cure, every year coming up with new and innovative ways to raise funds.
