August 26, 2104 - "Chesapeake City Public Schools: The Poster Child for Bad Government," a new exposé piece by Barry Marsh, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. After living with corruption for thirty years, Barry Marsh finally had enough.

Pressured by the economic status in the 1980s, the author decided to accept a technician job offer from the Chesapeake City Public Schools District, despite being over-qualified for it. When he took the job, the author had not foreseen the everyday narcissism, arrogance, and despotism of the people who worked there. Nor could he ever guess that working for the Chesapeake City Public Schools District would nearly cost him his career.

Speaking up for what was right, the author always made sure that the higher-ups within the school were informed of the mistakes in procedures and made suggestions for improvements in management. But he never expected everything to come tumbling down on him; one day, he found himself the object of collusion by the management he tried to help.

"Chesapeake City Public Schools: The Poster Child for Bad Government," by Barry Marsh, gives an idea about, and provides an example of, the corruption that takes place at the various levels of our government.

About the Author:

Barry Marsh was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but grew up in central Florida where his family stayed for ten years before moving back to Virginia. He studied to become a mechanic and worked part-time as an auto mechanics teacher at Chesapeake Center for Science and Technology. He is still working for the Transportation Department at Chesapeake Schools to this day.

"Chesapeake City Public Schools: The Poster Child for Bad Government" is a 118-page paperback with a retail price of $12.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-0156-8.
