Member of Clear Lake Area Writers Publishes a Beautiful Work of Narrative Fiction

September 6, 2014 - "Five Lost Children," a new book by Patricia W. Smith, has been released by RoseDog Books.

This book, "Five Lost Children," is a narrative fictional story about a young woman named Christine Dianne Jackson. She was raised by her grandparents, in Clone County, Mississippi, from the early 1940s until about 1961. When she "came of age" she moved to Hartford, Connecticut, with one of her friends. She saw trouble when she witnessed the condition of family structures and the world. She felt that something had to be done.

One day, in 1963, while Christine was meditating, she became burdened in her spirit. She felt that she had a job to do. She trusted God to lead her. She would not allow her physical limitations to keep her from what she felt was God's plan and purpose for her life. Therefore, if it had not been for God and Christine Dianne Jackson, five special children would have been lost forever in the bottomless pit of society, perhaps never to rise again. Thus, this story begins.

About the Author:
Patricia W. Smith has recently moved to Houston, Texas, with her husband of 38 years. She is a Sunday School Teacher at Jericho City Church, a Receptionist at Bay Pointe Behavioral Health, and a member of Clear Lake Area Writers.
