October 7, 2014 - Foster City, CA - Dr. Richard P. Kinsel and Dr. Bryan Pope are happy to announce that the Bay Area Center for the Treatment of Dental Implant Complications is now open and treating patients with dental implant problems. The center focuses on patients who are experiencing dental implant complications due to biological and mechanical failures.

"We discovered the need for a professional dental implant practice in the Bay Area community," Dr. Pope said. "Even though the percentage of patients with dental implant complications is relatively small, we are seeing those numbers rise due to the increased amount of procedures being performed in the Bay Area."

Along with Dr. Pope, who is an implant surgeon and periodontist, the Bay Area Center consists of Dr. Richard Kinsel, a restorative dentist, and Daniele Capoferri, a master dental laboratory technician. Together, this team of professionals collaborates to give patients the best possible treatment as they dedicate themselves to evidence-based solutions. They all participate in the patient's initial examination and work together to craft the best treatment plan.

"Mechanical and biological failures can be very difficult to manage," Dr. Pope added. "If left untreated, there can be irreversible damage to the patient's general health, the jaw bone, gums and facial aesthetics."

The Bay Area Center for the Treatment of Dental Implant Complications also invites people to visit their new website. Patients, who have dental implants and are experiencing problems, now have a place to go to find out more information regarding implants, potential failure problems and restorative care solutions.
