Lake Villa, Illinois (November 7, 2014) – Hometown MBA, Inc., an innovative start-up in connecting MBA professionals to project opportunities for small businesses, announced today the re-release of its beta MBA-for-hire site, Hometown MBA (www.hometownmba.com).

The beta site is designed to match MBA students and professionals seeking freelance projects together with small businesses that can best utilize their skills. The site allows businesses to post project opportunities and find MBA talent faster and more efficiently than larger, more traditional freelance sites and job boards. The revised HometownMBA.com site also syndicates each project opportunity to a number of universities, business information sites, career expert sites, blogs, and search engines to specifically target passive MBA students and professionals, encouraging them to consider interim project opportunities to supplement their income and to leverage their unique business skills.

"Many times, local businesses cannot find the right MBA talent for their project needs because they're not sure of which site to use, or their opportunities can get lost among the larger companies also going after the same talent for projects," said Don Carter, Co-Founder and CEO of Hometown MBA. "The mission for Hometown is to ensure that all MBA students and professionals can easily connect with the many mainstream businesses out there that are looking for people like them. We also want our business users to feel secure in knowing that they're getting really qualified local MBA talent to fill their project openings by using our site."

Headquartered in the Chicago area, Hometown MBA initially started off as a University of Illinois Executive MBA project on entrepreneurship by five classmates, but then the team's passion for the initiative quickly outgrew their assignment. As a result, the project evolved into a full-fledged business providing quality MBA talent to help address the project needs of local area businesses.

"We're really excited by our revised beta site," said Carter. "We're anxious to get started working with universities and MBA professionals to help support the continued growth of small businesses in our country with MBA consulting support."
