About the Author:
Joanne O. Fleck resides in Iowa. She lives with her husband on an acreage of property in the infamous Loess Hills. She has a Laso Apso named Princess, and enjoys spending quiet time alone, horseback riding, and writing children's stories.

Joanne hopes that children will learn from Jack, as children should not feel the need to imitate others. Instead, they should feel free to find their own way and embrace their individuality. As a child, Joanne spent much of her energy trying to imitate others. She now hopes children will realize that they are unique and wonderful, even if others laugh off their ideas and dreams.
