SALT LAKE CITY, November 21, 2014 — After creating the TRIO, a three stage portable water filter, Renovo Water has recently introduced the VIVA, a single stage filter in response to help end the world water crisis. The VIVA can be used as an inline water filter or as a gravity filter with a five gallon bucket. Renovo Water knows more than most the current worldwide water facts and wanted to help.

"We are in a unique position to design a water filter system for the developing world. We feel it is our calling as a water filtration company. The Renovo TRIO water filter design and pricing make it unsuitable for third-world use so that is why we created the VIVA. Though the VIVA is not the end solution to clean water shortage it is a step in the right direction," said Bastian Cowsert, Renovo Water's CMO.

There are currently 1 billion people worldwide without access to clean water. Introducing clean water into a community has a snowball effect on many facets of life including health care, education, and economic growth. Without clean water none of the growth is possible. Clean water is the precipice of growth and stabilization in third-world countries. With the bucket adapter included in the packaging, anyone can create a water filtration system that can be used by a family or small community. The portable water filter bucket kit can clean one gallon of water every three and a half minutes or up to 17 gallons a day.

The VIVA which means "life" in spanish is a single stage hollow fiber membrane filter that can be used camping, hiking, emergency preparedness and other recreation activities most Utahns participate in. However, it is the goal of Renovo Water to use the VIVA in partnership with humanitarian aid organizations to address the current clean water shortage. Renovo Water is currently seeking partnership opportunities and donation inquires for the VIVA. Join Renovo Water and help provide clean drinking water to those in need.
