About the Author:
Jayne Wolff was born in Racine, Wisconsin and now lives on a small farm near where she grew up. She is an avid gardener, crafter, and animal lover who raises birds. Wolff shares her big two-story farmhouse with her husband Roy and their dog Caesar.

A self-described ordinary woman with an extraordinary imagination, Wolff first found inspiration for this book in a strange photograph she took by accident. She hopes Fiona's story will teach children to enjoy and respect nature and teach parents how important it is to read to their children and expand their imaginations.
