It's been an incredibly difficult job, but the contenders have all been analysed and the arguments are finally over. We're now in a position to reveal our most ambitious top 100 list to date.

As well as the usual suspects like Mount Everest, The Great Barrier Reef, The Amazon Rainforest and Ulura (Ayers Rock), we also have a number of surprises on the list that you may never have heard of like Shangri-La in China, The Hoba Meteorite in Namibia or the Iguacu Falls in South America.

In the course of our investigations we've also matched similar types of wonders to answer questions such as "Which is the most impressive mountain?"; the scale and size of Mount Everest, the perfect symmetry of Mount Fuji or perhaps the visually stunning Mount Kilimanjaro. Or perhaps you're wondering "Which is the better waterfall?"; The height of Angel and Victoria Falls, the beautiful horseshoe of Niagra Falls, or maybe the sheer scale of Iguaca Falls?

And we haven't forgotten those natural spectacles that are experienced from earth such as seeing Comets, Eclipses or the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis.

The wonder of wildlife is also represented on our list with entries such as the Serengeti Migration in Tanzania and Kenya, and the Penguin Colonies of Antarctica.

Which would have been you're number 1? See if you agree with our results and send us your ideas for our next update of the 100 Greatest Natural Wonders.
