General Motors Marketing Executive to Speak to the Adcraft Club of Detroit May 8

Detroit, April 15, 2015 - The Adcraft Club of Detroit, Metro Detroit's association for advertising and marketing communications professionals, will host a luncheon featuring Tony DiSalle, U.S. Vice President of Buick and GMC Marketing, at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 8 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. DiSalle will discuss Buick's plans for the future, including his thoughts on the brand's newest campaign, "Experience the New Buick."

"GM Day is something we look forward to every year as an opportunity for Adcrafters to learn about the marketing plans for one of our industry's biggest influencers," Phil Rzepka, Adcraft President and Senior Vice President, Head of Global Innovation for Carat, said. "We are proud of the special relationship Adcraft has with the automotive industry and of our ability to provide our members access to the latest marketing and advertising strategies."

The "Experience the New Buick" campaign challenges consumers' perception of the brand see it in a modern light.

DiSalle began his career with GM in 1988. His current role involves providing senior leadership and strategic direction for U.S. Buick and GMC marketing functions such as marketing, communications and product strategy.

DiSalle accepted his current position in 2011 and has held numerous management positions within GM, including product and marketing director of the Chevrolet Volt as well as standing as vice president of sales, service and marketing for OnStar.

The event, which is expected to attract more than 400 attendees, is open to the public. Tickets are $40 for Adcraft members, $50 for non-members, and $30 for junior and student members.
