2013 WFCT Automotive Tint-Off Champion Randy Humphries selects Solar Gard as exclusive provider for new window film business

Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Burlington, MA - Solar Gard, a company of Saint-Gobain, a global leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of specialty films, is excited to announce its selection as the exclusive supplier to Tint Works Boston in Burlington, Massachusetts. Owned and operated by Randy Humphries — a multiple-time Window Film Conference & Tint-Off (WFCT) award winner – Tint Works Boston will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, May 16.

"While the number of international installation awards Randy has won over the years is an incredible achievement, what makes him such a great dealer partner for Solar Gard is his commitment to outstanding customer service, along with the principles and integrity he brings to the business," said Lawrence Constantin, Director of Sales and Marketing - Americas. "We are delighted to join Randy for the grand opening and honored to be the exclusive film provider of Tint Works Boston."

Tint Works Boston offers Solar Gard window film solutions for automotive, residential and commercial customers throughout the Greater Boston area, as well as Clearshield® Pro, Solar Gard's automotive paint protection film. Additionally, as the newest member of the Panorama® Dealer Network, Tint Works Boston will carry the premier line of Panorama architectural window films. On Saturday, May 16, Tint Works Boston will celebrate with a grand opening featuring installations on high-end and classic vehicles, including a Ferrari 458 California. Representatives from Solar Gard will also be in attendance to help commemorate the opening.

"It is an exciting day for me and my family," said Randy Humphries, owner of Tint Works Boston. "We are committed to world-class installations and service. It is that mission of providing the highest-quality work, products and service that sets us apart in this area, and we are confident that with that commitment, business will follow."

When asked why — over a field of competitors – Humphries decided to partner with Solar Gard, he replied:

"I like how Solar Gard treats their people. It's not a dollar figure to them, it's a matter of principle and that goes a long way with me. In the end, all we have is our word and I know that Solar Gard lives up to theirs."

On top of his 15 years of experience, Randy Humphries' accolades include 2013 WFCT Automotive Tint-Off Champion, 2014 WFCT Architectural Tint-Off - 3rd Place, and numerous regional awards.
