August 1, 2015 - The construction crew at ImagAbility Inc., makers of the international, award-winning educational and manipulative toy products, WEDGiTS™, has totally rebuilt and redesigned the packaging of its cornerstone brand.

Rock McKinley, VP Sales & Marketing of ImagAbility, said, "Our new packaging makes attention grabbing shelf sense, communicates the unlimited play pattern, and enables easier shipping for everyone. We're pleased that we have wrapped up all of our WEDGiTS products in a more efficient and effective way."

The redesigned packaging was a challenge for ImagAbility because, as you may know, WEDGiTS building block toys resemble square donuts and diamonds with angled edges. The five, primary pieces of the WEDGiTS toy are graduated in size, so, the blocks actually nest together and stack into the shape of a pyramid. The dynamic fun of playing with WEDGiTS can be hard to translate in one nested stack. Now, parents and children can easily identify the fun and open-ended play value of WEDGiTS and what they can accomplish with WEDGiTS.

WEDGiTS™ offer strong 'learning-value' in every product configuration. It can be found throughout the product line whether children are constructing life like forms, towering skyscrapers, space ships, symmetrical designs, water molecules or crystal-like structures.

The award-winning WEDGiTS line has earned ImagAbility honors in Parenting Magazine, Toy Insider, and Learning Magazine, as well as awards and honors from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, National Parenting Publications of America, Mom's Choice, National Parenting Center, Parents Choice, Dr. Toy, and Able Play's Special Needs Approval.

In addition to the original WEDGiTS sets, other products in the WEDGiTS line include, WEDGiTS on Wheels (WOW), Mini WEDGiTS™, WEDGNETiX™ Magnetic WEDGiTS, as well as WEDGiTS school activity packs, building table platforms and other accessories.

How Do I WEDGiT?
The way WEDGiTS work is that WEDGiTS pieces (technically speaking, octahedrons and rhombus shapes) can be nested, stacked, linked and wedged together to create hundreds of designs. The company slogan says, Nest it… Stack it… Wedge it. It is a simple statement that, as you play with WEDGiTS, you usually start with the common nesting of the pieces and making different stacks. The amazing transformation comes in when the wedging of the shapes starts. The use of smaller rhombus pieces or the octahedron blocks inserted between other rhombus shapes produces a wedging effect. Sounds complicated but it's not. The progressive nature of WEDGiTS offers strong learning-value in every product configuration. It can be found throughout the product line whether children are constructing simple pyramid structures and then developing to form towering skyscrapers, animals, space ships, and symmetrical designs.
