August 10, 2015 - Stink and Muse is proud to announce the release of BattleFlip, a competitive new game app where players battle for victory by finding gems and avoiding mines. Players must strategically upgrade their weapons to sabotage the opponent, win battles, and climb the BattleFlip rankings.

In this unique new app, each player places 11 gems and 10 mines on a 3D sphere. Once the gems and mines are hidden, the players trade spheres and take turns flipping tiles on the spheres. After flipping a tile, mine icons may appear. The number of mine icons indicate how many mines there are hidden on adjacent tiles. If a player hits a mine, he or she loses one life and their turn. Whoever finds all 11 gems first wins. Uncovering the opponent's gems while avoiding mines and preserving lives requires careful thinking. "The combination of quality graphics, simple rules, and the competitive nature of the game are what truly differentiates BattleFlip from other game apps," says the senior developer of BattleFlip.

With only five actions per turn, players must make their moves strategically in BattleFlip. Each action is used to either look for gems or activate bonus items, which are weapons and defenses hidden on the sphere. Bonus items require one action to activate and can be upgraded for maximum effect. To upgrade bonus items, players can use the gold that they receive after winning a game. Players can battle online with friends or random opponents, or alternatively they can battle offline in solo mode to refine their skills.

BattleFlip is now available for free in the App Store. For more information, email info@stinkandmuse.com.
