September 19, 2015 - "Mommy Has to Go to Work," a new book by Ms. Violet, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Ms. Violet worked while raising her three children. She went back to work when all of them were 7 weeks of age. She understands how difficult it can be when leaving them in the caring hands of someone else. Ms. Violet decided to write "Mommy Has to Go to Work" after realizing that there was a limited selection of children's books dealing with working mothers.

"Mommy Has to Go to Work" is about a child whose day begins around 5:30 in the morning. The child does not go home again until almost 12 hours later. The story is told through the eyes of a grandchild, who tells us about several experiences while in the hands of the caregiver. As much LOVE as the child has for the Grandparents, Mommy is still number one in his or her heart. This story is told in a rhythmic way that small children will surely enjoy.

About the Author: Ms. Violet lives with her husband in the Western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She worked as an Electronic Technician for many years and likes to sew and do crafts when time permits. Both she and her husband are now retired, but are full-time caregivers for their grandchild. They also keep busy by caring for several animals and a cat named Allie, who is handicapped.

"Mommy Has to Go to Work" is a 32-page paperback with a retail price of $15.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-6132-6. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
