  • - About The Adventure Park at Long Island –
The Adventure Park at Long Island is located on the Grounds of the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds at 75 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights (Town of Babylon), New York.

Set on five acres, The Adventure Park's 10 aerial trails consist of about 135 platforms and elements installed in the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood and rope to form "crossings" of different kinds including 16 of the ever-popular zip lines. Climbers wear harnesses which are doubly secured to safety cables using the Park's own "always locked on" climbing system of interlocking carabineers (coupling links). Before venturing onto the trails climbers receive a thorough orientation.

The aerial trails at The Adventure Park are color-coded and offer suitable challenge levels from age seven through adult. The most advanced trail (double black diamond) is suitable for teens and adults who are experienced climbers. Otherwise there are nine other trails of different challenge levels to choose from. In short, there is something for just about everyone who wants to climb and zip through the trees at The Adventure Park.

For those who choose not to climb but want to share the experience with friends or family who are climbing, The Adventure Park offers beautiful forest paths and picnic tables. Admission for non-climbers is free of charge.

The Adventure Park at Long Island is designed, built and operated by Outdoor Ventures. For further information and details visit www.LongIslandAdventurePark.org, email Info@LongIslandAdventurePark.org or call (631) 983-3844.
