Donny Shimamoto Shows Firms How To Evolve Tech Department Into Leadership Role At Cch Connections User Conference

Donny Shimamoto will be presenting the How to Turn a Tech Team Into a Strategic Partner course at the 2015 CCH Connections User Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The course is expected to be a popular one for Managing Partners and IT Directors and has been booked for two slots to fill attendee demand.

Donny's first session will be October 26th at 3:30pm with a repeat class on the 28th at 8:00am. The course will discuss how the advent of cloud computing and a move to outsource IT results in the review of an internal IT department's contribution to firm value. Just having technology is no longer a competitive advantage; the value is in how technology supports the firm's business strategy. Mr. Shimamoto's session will provide the questions a Managing Partner should ask the IT Director or IT service provider to help the IT function take a broader role in the business, absorbing a leadership rather than compliance role.
