About the Author:
Dorothy M. Smith MED is a graduate of Robert A. Taft High School, Wittenberg University, and Xavier University. She holds a B.A. of Fine Arts, as well as Master of Education. Having taught for 37 years, she has been listed in Who's Who Among America's Teachers.

In addition to being a published author, Smith is also an active artist and member of the Cincinnati Art Museum.

The inspiration for Bullying Bee came when she was bullied and bothered by a bee while she was painting.
