Seasoned Executive with 25 Year Track Record of Assisting Entrepreneurs to Open Tax Franchises Joins the Team

Melissa's hire further fills out their executive team of tax industry veterans.

They include both a low cost, home based lifestyle franchise that doesn't require risky leases, costly employees or preparing tax returns as well as an Area Representative opportunity that enables those reps to sell franchises and coach franchisees in a specific geographic area that they own.

This hire comes at an opportune time as the 19 billion dollar tax preparation industry is seeing a massive shift away from traditional income tax chains. Consumers across the country are embracing Happy's hybrid model that offers much more convenience and security than anything else offered in the marketplace. Happy Tax has in house and external financing available for its franchisees to get started with launching and growing their business. Franchise fees for Happy Tax's home based offering are increasing from $10,000 to $20,000 on July 1, 2016. With this model, franchisees earn between $140 and $400 for each tax return they or their team members source. They can also earn income year round offering accounting and bookkeeping services. Happy Tax's team of CPA's do all the tax prep work so franchisees get to focus on business development and growing their profits instead of minutia.

Area Representatives receive 50 percent of all franchise fees and royalties generated in their geographic area. Pricing for areas start at $50,000 and can be $250,000 or higher depending on population size. A limited number of areas are available currently.
