June 20, 2016 - LOOK WHAT JUST FLEW IN! Wild Republic today announced that its newly updated flock of plush Audubon Birds™ with authentic sound from the Macaulay Library at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology is now available to all fans of our feathered friends. Designs are approved by Audubon and songs are provided from Cornell's library of wildlife recordings.

The most popular birds from Wild Republic's exclusive line have been refreshed using the latest in fabric printing technologies to bring bird lovers of all ages vivid colors, enhanced clarity and exactness in appearance like never before. The initial launch of 12 birds were chosen based on beauty of appearance and song. Updates will be phased into the line on an ongoing basis; six more plush birds will be released this year.

Vishnu Chandran, President of Wild Republic, said, "Our Audubon Bird line has been a cornerstone product for Wild Republic for nearly 15 years. We've taken great care to ensure we provide unparalleled authenticity and educational value to the discerning hobbyists, collectors, educators and fans of our feathered friends."

Since the debut of the first few birds in 2002, Wild Republic's Audubon Bird line has been a consistent performer each year. The attention to detail is earning the company several accolades and opportunities for increased distribution into retail outlets that cater to the line's core customers: educators and garden hobbyists.

The Wild Republic Audubon Birds are multi award-winning products, praised by independent evaluators and reviews. The Audubon Birds have earned several top honors, including The 2016 National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, National Parenting Publications of America (NAPPA), Mom's Choice Gold Award, Creative Child Product of the Year, and Dr. Toy's Classic, Green, Vacation and Top Educational Product Award Winner.
