Special Applied Intelligence Launches Integrated IT Management Service With Fixed Per-User Pricing

Marking the start of its fifth year in business, Special Applied Intelligence (“SpecialAI”) today announced the launch of its remodeled IT Management program. Initially targeted at organizations with fewer than five-hundred users, the new offering integrates structured IT maintenance, network monitoring, and
help-desk services into a package with a flat monthly price.

“Small companies used to be able to rely on ad hoc IT management to keep their
networks up and running…”, says Fritz Kunstler, CEO of SpecialAI. “The problem with that approach is that it's inherently reactive. So many serious vulnerabilities pervade the average network today that unless a system is proactively maintained, it's almost
guaranteed to be compromised. Big or small, no business can justify that risk.”

SpecialAI began developing its new IT Management Program during September of
2005. To establish the services catalog and pricing models, internal databases of support requests, maintenance logs, and billing records from past years were
exhaustively analyzed. The resulting base package includes a range of services from managed backups to centralized security updates and even cleaning of critical hardware.

Beyond increased confidence in their networks, this program makes it easy for clients to understand and predict their ongoing IT expenses. SpecialAI has already begun transitioning existing customers into the new program and feedback has been positive thus far.
