August 24, 2016 - The Rebuilding and Restoration of America, a new book by Eric Dahlin, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Author Eric Dahlin has been in the commercial and residential construction industry for over fifty years. He has worked professionally throughout the construction industry, specializing in light gage steel panelization of architectural designed homes and commercial buildings. He impacted the residential industry in the early 1970s by designing one of the first in-ground homes in central New York.

Eric's involvement in the residential industry led him to believe that there is a better way for home ownership in this country. People buy homes, averaging a quarter of a million dollars, and know absolutely nothing about what they are buying. They go directly to realtors and home-building contractors with little or no knowledge of the product selections used in the construction process of their home.

Eric wants all Americans to have the opportunity for a free education on all facets of home ownership before making a 30 year financial commitment. Eric is in the process of marketing an online educational site, virtualhomesshow.org to prospective homeowners where they can become educated on the biggest investment of their lives by writing their own specifications and selecting each product in their home before they approach a home-building contractor.

About the Author:
Immediately upon completion of his service commitment in the U.S. Army, Eric Dahlin started his professional construction career as a union carpenter in Syracuse, New York. His rise through the ranks of leadership in the industry included foreman, superintendent, and owner of a large commercial construction company. This company built the first enclosed shopping mall in central New York.

Entering the Corporate world in the late 1970s, Eric continued his leadership with two national restaurant chains. For Sambo's Restaurants of Santa Barbara, California, he was responsible for expansion in the northeast of the United States. In the 1980s he led Arby's restaurants in international expansion and development. His success was attributed to his use of the first panelized energy efficient building program. This reduced the time of construction by half and increased energy efficiency by 15%.

The Rebuilding and Restoration of America is a 416-page hardcover with a retail price of $30.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-6174-6. It was published by RoseDog Books of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
