Five Months Later, Author Gets Second Contract

(Stockton, CA) They said it would happen, and it did: just five months after getting his first book Kisho accepted by PublishAmerica, Stockton resident Jerod Twiford has his second contract offer for his latest story Turatio.
Turatio is a short supernatural/fantasy style novel based loosely after the Greek pantheon and the legends of risen spirits, yet the name itself (and the name of the goddess involved) is actually based after a Latin word.
“I was searching for appropriate names [for her],” Jerod said, “when I happened along the word ‘turbatio’, Latin for ‘confusion.’ I dropped the ‘b’ for easier pronunciation and liked the result.”
More stories are in the works, and Jerod has high expectations. “I’m looking for a movie agent for Kisho right now, and I’m also trying to get a good book deal going for my horror series.”
