Eastern Illinois University Converts from Transcripts on Demand to TranscriptsPlus

December 30, 2016 - Eastern Illinois University has converted from Transcripts on Demand™ to TranscriptsPlus® in an effort to streamline transcript ordering and fulfillment. In addition to making the switch to TranscriptsPlus, the university has added complimentary services eRoboMail® and PDF sending. This allows Credentials Solutions to fully automate EIU's transcript ordering process and provide its students and alumni with a better service.

TranscriptsPlus offers EIU students and alumni the ability to order transcripts online from anywhere in the world. The platform is FERPA compliant, easy-to-use and features a mobile-friendly user interface. Working in concert with TranscriptsPlus is RoboRegistrar®, Credentials' proprietary software that locates student records, authenticates the retrieved information, checks for any holds and communicates order status via email and text.

By utilizing eRoboMail and PDF sending, students and alumni are able to send their transcripts electronically or through the mail. eRoboMail is a print and mail service that prints, folds, stuffs and stamps paper transcripts. Transcripts are sent through first class mail with the option to have them expedited through FedEx. With PDF delivery, transcripts are delivered electronically in a matter of minutes. These services give students and alumni options based on the receiver's preferred format.

The conversion from Transcripts on Demand to TranscriptsPlus has improved productivity in the Registrar's Office and resulted in fewer phone calls and less students waiting in line.
