Kacee Johnson Added to Prestigious List of Top 25 Thought Leaders

March 6, 2017 - Kacee Johnson, Founder and CEO of Blue Ocean Principles, was added to the prestigious list of Top 25 Thought Leaders by CPA Practice Advisor Magazine for 2017. The annual Thought Leader Symposium was held February 26 - 28th at the Rootworks Learning Center located inside the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis. The event included the induction of technology visionary Doug Sleeter into the Accounting Hall of Fame.

The most respected and influential leaders in the accounting profession are invited to discuss emerging trends, technologies, and best practices that will influence the profession for years to come. Kacee started Blue Ocean Principles, a strategic consulting firm to app developers and accountants, in October of 2014. She works with top vendors in the space helping them to build products and messaging that fit the needs of accounting professionals. Her firm also acts as an outsourced CMO to accounting firms looking to drive growth.

Starting her career in the accounting technology community as the Executive Vice President and one of the owners of Cloudnine Real Time, she led the company to exponential growth from 87 users to over 20,000 in less than 5 years. Branching off in 2014 to start her own consulting company, Kacee founded Blue Ocean Principles with a simple goal in mind: work with people you enjoy, on projects you believe in.
