LONDON, March 28, 2017 – As the global MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) procurement industry diversifies and expands, Aviation Week Network's ap&m Europe, the three day annual networking event for the commercial aviation aftermarket, is growing its audience to include new, first time attendees and exhibitors.

Juliet Trew, Events Director at Aviation Week Network said, "It's been 14 years since ap&m Europe first landed in London, and during that time a loyal following has developed, with many exhibitors and visitors attending every year since 2003. However, recently we have seen an increasing number of new companies, choosing ap&m Europe as a platform to promote their products and services."

"As a newcomer to ap&m Europe, we would like to present our logistics services to the airlines and suppliers," said Andreas Loos, branch manager at Kras-Logistics, who are making their ap&m Europe debut in 2017. "We're looking to expand our global network and customer base."

Kras Logistics aren't alone. Of the 200 exhibitors at this year's show, over 20% are first-timers, with several others returning to the show after a long absence. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with new suppliers and business associates.

"We chose to exhibit at ap&m to get fresh exposure on our new activities, and branch into the UK market," added Amaury Parent, business development manager at Ateliers Bigata.

In addition, a raft of new airlines are also committed to "Meet the Buyers", a unique speed networking feature that offers exhibitors a level playing field to meet hard to find buyers in a series of 10-minute, face to face meetings, for the first time. Procurement and purchasing specialists from the likes of Aero Transporte, Air Arabia Maroc, Atlas Global Airlines, Blue Air, DHL, DOT LT, Emirates, First Nation Airways, Kenya Airways, Regional One and Volotea are participating for the first time.

Rob Woods, Head of Engineering at Air Arabia Maroc, one of the buyers taking part explains, "As we enter a period of rapid and exciting growth we look forward to meeting with many of our current suppliers, and even more so, we look forward to discussing new and creative approaches with potential future suppliers too."
