PITTSBURGH – April 28, 2017 – RDX, the nation's largest 100% onshore remote data infrastructure services provider, is proud to announce that the organization has achieved its 5th PCI DSS Report on Compliance and its 7th SSAE 16 SOC Service Quality Report for calendar year 2017.

AICPA SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type 2 Report
RDX previously held 6 SSAE 16 SOC 1 Type 2 Service Quality Reports. For audit year 2016, RDX chose to further demonstrate its commitment to service quality and data security by obtaining a SSAE SOC 2 Type 2 Service Quality Report. RDX continued to partner with Schneider Downs, who performed RDX's previous SSAE 16 audits, to independently assess the design and operation of RDX's internal controls. Schneider Downs is one of the 60 largest, top-tier public accounting firms and is a long-standing member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The AICPA's SOC 2 Type 2 is the most widely recognized audit control report and is designed to allow organizations to readily assess and address the risks associated with external service providers.

PCI DSS QSA Report on Compliance (ROC)
RDX also received its most recent PCI DSS ROC from MegaplanIT, a Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). The Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a robust set of audit controls designed to ensure that companies that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. QSAs are independent audit organizations that have been approved by the PCI Security Standards Council to validate an entity's adherence to PCI DSS. QSA auditors are individuals who have satisfied all QSA training and testing requirements and are authorized by the PCI Security Standards Council to perform audit assessments.

"Our SOC 2 and PCI compliance projects underscore our commitment to providing high quality, secure services to our rapidly growing customer base," said Buddy Flerl, RDX CEO. "RDX understands the high level of trust our customers have placed in our organization. We will continue to improve our internal processes and make significant investments in our infrastructure to incorporate the latest, cutting-edge service delivery and data security technologies."

"Choosing a service provider is one of the most important decisions an organization can make. SSAE 16 and PCI Compliance reports should be non-negotiable when evaluating remote data infrastructure services providers. You're giving control of your most sensitive and critical data assets to a third-party organization. DBAs and OS engineers, by the very essence of their job descriptions, are the protectors of the organization's data stores," said Rob Brown, Senior Vice President of RDX. "RDX currently protects thousands of servers for our customers. Achieving our SOC 2 and PCI QSA compliance provides our customers with confidence knowing the high level of importance we place upon service quality and data security."
