Habana Joe to Debut 2006 Fall Line at MAGIC in Las Vegas

MAGIC, is an annual show hosted by the Men’s Apparel Guild in California. It is the largest, most comprehensive men’s apparel and accessory trade event in the U.S.
This will be Habana Joe’s first trip to Magic. “We have been preparing for this event for a while”, says Joe Gere, president and founder of the Habana Joe Trading Company. “It’s the biggest event of its kind. We’ve made quite an impact along the Eastern Seaboard, adding several new stores recently, and now it’s time to head west. The new line is exciting, and to be able to debut it at MAGIC is just as exciting. We expect it to go over real well”.

The clothing combines the resort, yachting and fishing atmosphere of Havana, Cuba in the 40’s and 50’s with modern sensibilities. “My grandfather fascinated us with passionate stories of his frequent trips to Havana, and how he became a popular figure there, even fishing with Hemingway himself,” noted Joe Gere. “These clothes give a glimpse of these Havana days and nights while providing the quality rarely seen in casual wear.”
