The Special Event Appoints Event Industry Veteran Kevin Hacke as Sales Account Executive

New York, Aug. 7, 2017: The Special Event (TSE), the oldest and largest conference and trade show in the event industry, which will take place Jan. 30 through Feb. 1, 2018, in New Orleans, today announced that veteran event executive Kevin Hacke has joined as sales account executive.

Hacke brings 13 years of event industry experience to The Special Event. In his new role, he will be responsible for exhibit and sponsorship sales, building relationships to benefit special events industry professionals and enhance the longtime leadership position of The Special Event Conference and Trade Show. 

Hacke has worked with 14 international trade associations and professional societies during his career in nonprofit management. He has led diverse teams in legal/medical consulting, real-property valuation, construction and natural resources, industrial and commercial food equipment, intellectual property, and worksite health promotion, among others.

Most recently, Hacke served as executive director for the International Live Events Association (ILEA) where he worked to advance the organization, developing new and re-imagined programs and services.
