Richmond, Vermont (VT) (February 10, 2006) – The Richmond Area Business Association has named Billy Keyworth their new President replacing Alan Jones, Waitsfield Champlain Valley Telecom, RABA President since 2003. The announcement was made at the Association’s annual Holiday Party in December at Toscano Café Bistro, Richmond.

Jones says "Over the past several years as President, I have watched the Richmond Area Business Association grow and succeed with our vision for the communities we serve. I have shared in the joy and felt the challenges of the businesses within our communities and have made many friendships that will last a lifetime. I am pleased and honored to pass the leadership role of the RABA to Bill Keyworth. Billy brings a great deal of business knowledge and creativity to the organization as well as his incredible energy. I look forward to watching the organization continue to grow and prosper in the years to come."

The new RABA Board also includes incoming Vice President Erik Filkorn, Eric Filkorn Public Relations (Richmond & Burlington), incoming Secretary Jenny Hermenze, Bridge Street Dyeworks (Huntington) and continuing as Treasurer Janet Bonneau (Richmond resident and co-owner of Winooski Press, Winooski).

Keyworth says "At 80 members strong, I plan on continuing the success of the immediate past President, Alan Jones by building on the foundations now in place and leveraging our strengths wherever required. The RABA has been a very important support source for me in building my graphics design firm and has provided outstanding networking opportunities. I look forward to an exciting year for the RABA."
