Sales Tales, a new book by T. Farmer, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Sales Tales is a compilation of funny, strange, and unusual stories from T. Farmer and his friends in the sales profession. Many books by sales professionals focus on helping you sell more and make more, but Sales Tales is about the "Why" behind salespeople. Why do they drive the miles, put in the long hours, and go on sales calls until midnight? Farmer shows that there is more to sales than making a living.

The collection includes incredible and hilarious anecdotes, including a pet monkey demonstrating the sharpness of knives, a salesman's accidental eavesdropping, and an awkward ending to an outburst of road rage. They will make you laugh out loud and want to share them with others. Sales Tales was written and published with much gratitude to the many salespeople who contributed their stories.

About the Author
T. Farmer was born in a small Iowa town of three thousand people, where everyone knew everyone's business. He was interested in sports, camping, hunting, and getting into trouble. He was really good at the latter and was named "Best Teacher Agitator" of his senior class. After high school he served a plumber's apprenticeship for four years before joining the US Army's Eighty-Second Airborne unit. He also graduated from the Army's engineering school as a licensed power engineer. After the military, he went into commission-only sales selling roofing services.

Farmer's sales career has been storied and rewarding. There have been successes and disappointments, but along the way, he learned how to find the fun in the process. He has always believed you must enjoy what you do for a living in order to enjoy your time away from home.

Sales Tales is a 132-page paperback with a retail price of $13.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-5605-6. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
