Free Domain Search Engine Adds 3-Character and Dictionary Domain Search Tools

February 14, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
As of this writing there are over 40,000 available 3-Character Domains. In addition there are over 5,000 available Dictionary Domains. These lists are made up of all available domains which include .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, and .us. Because manually searching through every word in the dictionary or every possible 3-character combination to find an available one is a tedious endeavor, pcNames.com has developed and released the complete list of all available 3-Character and Dictionary Domains.

Besides the release of the 3-Character and Dictionary Domain tools, www.pcNames.com has performed other updates such as a word variation tool and some key changes to the shopping cart. When the word variation option is selected not only will it search for the keyword, but this tool will also enable a user to search all variations of the word. For example, when a user searches for the word ‘game’, the variations ‘games and gamer’ will also be used to find the best domains. The tool is optional, so if the user would like to limit the search to only the keyword, he/she can simply uncheck the option. To help users keep track of all the domains they find at pcNames.com, the shopping cart can now sort the domains by most recent, length, alphabet, or TLD. This shopping cart is unlike any on the Internet. To select the domains, the user can simply hold down the mouse button and move over the domains. With every other site online each item must be checked individually. With this feature the user can easily sift through any domains found, and choose which ones would be better to purchase.

There are now over 50 million available domains in the pcNames database. All of the domains go through a strict filter before being added, so only the most quality of domains are kept. On average over 100,000 new available domains are added to this database each day.
