byteMyCode 2.0 Launches

February 15, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Launching February 15 is a truly unique resource for programmers and developers: byteMyCode v2.0. Created by BlueCrestStudios, LLC., it allows programmers to find and share pieces of code, called "code snippets." The site is designed for all levels of developers, from novice to expert. Members can not only submit and share code; they can revise, comment on, and rate other code snippets. Through all these actions, members earn "byte points," where they can move up the community rankings.

One feature that is exclusive to byteMyCode is teaming. Members can create teams within the community, which can then have team-exclusive code, allowing for privacy in sharing sensitive code. Code can also be archived, supplying an efficient and secure way to store code while leaving it available to the entire team.

More efficient than emailing code, and definitely more fun, byteMyCode is the best way to share code. Submitting, revising, and ranking code also provides a bit of friendly competition. Brand-new and in a class by itself, this is byteMyCode.com by BlueCrestStudios. To celebrate the launch of byteMyCode v2.0, an iPod® Shuffle will be awarded to the member that submits the 500th code snippet. Log in and check it out – it won’t disappoint.
