Dubai UAE February 15 2006: Datamatix today announced the ‘UAE eGovernment Projects Summit’ to be organized at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE on April 4,5 2006.
The two day summit to be organized at UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi focuses on the status of UAE eGovernment projects and look forward to set the pace for future eGovernment development in the country.
The summit discusses the need to prepare for the next generation of eGovernment developments in the UAE. UAE eGovernment Project Summit will provide eGovernment Project Managers, Chief Information Officers (CIOs) & IT Managers with necessary insights and knowledge to build well-planned, business-focused and scalable eGovernment infrastructure that will meet the needs of the citizens. The summit will look at current practices, tools, and technology and suggest changes that are needed.
Speaking on the aim for bringing together UAE eGovernment project decision makers at this special event, Mr. Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director Datamatix and the organizer of the summit said “Many of the UAE Government organizations have successfully set up eGovernment systems and they believe that these projects can make a difference to their day to day operations. But except for some brilliant spots, there are not many success stories where eGovernment has served the government operations to a satisfactory level.
