Honne tells the story of a young girl, Carol, who faces the trials of living in a college town when she has no initiative to pursue the typical college lifestyle. She is battling her on and off relationship with the mysterious "Carrot" who is as intoxicating as he is mysterious. This novel is about growing up in your twenties in the current era and all the mistakes and tribulations a young girl can go through. Carol must pursue an idyllic future with her family gnawing at her back and a whirlwind romance that has encapsulated her.

About the Author
Elyse Richardson is a budding author and graduate of University of Iowa with an English degree. She finds her time dedicated to working odd jobs, writing, and watching every horror film she can get her paws on. She has been blogging dedicatedly since high school and has no qualms about putting herself in her work. She resides in St. Louis, Missouri – a little mouse in a big city. She has also lived in Denver and Iowa City as well, drawing from those influences. She studied Japanese in college for three years and has been to Japan several times.
