Fine artist Mark Rushton, also known for his ambient and electronica podcasts, has four new images available as framed prints in his art store.

The prints, which are scanned images of Mark's original paintings, are titled Mass Texture In Orange And Yellow (cafepress.com/art.47646978), Green Mountain Texture Night To Day (cafepress.com/art.47646817), Red And Yellow Rhythm (cafepress.com/art.47646688), and Yellow Dance (cafepress.com/art.47646249). Images can be found on Mark's personal web site at markrushton.com or at his online art store at art.markrushton.com

Rushton's prints are perfect for the home or office that's on a budget. All prints are custom manufactured using archival inks and acid-free paper. Framed prints are matted and framed in a stylish black frame with plexiglass cover. Frames include complete backing. Frame size: 15" x 19". Currently, prices are $39.99 each before shipping.

The paintings are created in Rushton's home studio, East Highlands, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, using acrylic paint on a synthetic paper. After numerous painting sessions for each image it is left to dry before being scanned to a particular size, cropped, and then uploaded to the art store.

Rushton has been perfecting his style of painting since 1993, when he started using synthetic paper towards the end of his time at the Kansas City Art Institute.

The paintings visually reflect the kind of textured ambience that Rushton's music brings to his listener's ears.
