Remember when you would have to actually attend a particular church to hear that particular preacher speak? Well times have changed. Now you can listen to your favorite preacher from another state preach while you jog, listening to your favorite sermons on your iPod. Even small churches like the Embry Hills church of Christ in Atlanta, Georgia have web sites that allow people from all around the world to listen to two Sunday sermons each week in an MP3 format.

The Embry Hills church of Christ has only been offering online downloads of their sermons for about a year, but each month they receive over 1,400 sermon download requests via their web site (http://www.EmbryHills.com). They get hits from literally all over the world.

Evangelism has never been so easy. No longer does a church have to make and send cds or tapes to individuals all across the globe. Anyone that is interested in hearing a sermon can go to the web site and either listen to or download and save a sermon.

Some churches are even offering podcasts or their weekly services. The internet has brought about some major changes in the way that churches distribute evangelistic materials.
