Los Angeles Photographer captures more than images

Like most artists who make their life their livelihood, Laura's interest in photography was born nearly 12 years ago out of an eye for detail and a passion for her work. "Photography started out as a hobby for me," says Laura. "After photographing for several years, I started to understand the importance of timing my movements in order to stay one step ahead of the event I am shooting. Being in the right place at the right time takes on a whole new meaning when you are photographing an event that happens once in a lifetime, like the wedding kiss."

While weddings make up a large part of Laura's portfolio, she also helps clients capture the moment with family portraits, actor headshots, album covers and even singles seeking headshots for their online profiles. "Other areas of photography I have started to branch out into have been landscapes, models and currently I plan to photograph 'Mom's to be' with their husbands," she says. "I also love working with party planners; photographing large events to help promote their work."

The perfect combination of timing and light are key ingredients to Laura's success. However it is her commitment to her clients that keep them coming back. In many cases, Laura works virtually to assist her clients, enabling them to preview and order online at www.laurajeansphotography.com. She also works with other photographers in areas of Photo Album Design and Photo Editing.

Most recently, Laura's work has been published in the Massachusetts' Attleboro Sun Chronicle and the Santa Monica Mirror. For more information, contact Laura at lj@laurajeansphotography.com or visit her website at http://www.laurajeansphotography.com.
