March 01, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Shanghai, China - “IPOs” is the ultimate buzzword in today's global sourcing and establishing it tends to be the most widely practiced and most successful approach to optimize global sourcing activities in China.

In addition to benefits related to specialization and centralization, International Procurement Organizations (or IPOs) generally offer the best chance to reduce sourcing costs and limit sourcing cycle times. The presence of such an office in China also helps ensure that all forms of procurement information are properly communicated worldwide. Overall, they are considered to be the best way to incorporate China’s sourcing into an established global supply chain.

As a follow-up to its successful first event, the China Supply Chain Council (CSCC) will organize its second China IPOs Conference on June 14, 2006 in Shanghai. It will be an essential event for sourcing and procurement experts who want to create a feasible business case and launch or expand their procurement operations in China.
