(LOS ANGELES, CA) Stereotype Records is proud to announce its 2006 Winter compilation and email promotion. Founded on the notion of FREE downloads and hearing great music, Stereotype pushes its eclectic artists together into one, easy to download, music sampler, which is available at www.stereotyperecords.com/comp.html.

Stereotype is confident you’ll find something you’ll love on this diverse and personal favorite mix of all its roster. Featuring selections from Mike Coykendall, PJ Golden, Autopilot, Thomas Greene, and Knee Jerk Reaction, there’s something for industry types, electronica lovers, and, of course, indie-music fans everywhere.

ARTISTS FEATURED:
Hello Hello Hello is Mike Coykendall's first solo album since his acclaimed work with the Old Joe Clarks. He engineered, produced, and played nearly every instrument on its 15 tracks of psychedelic folk rock. On the sampler you’ll hear, Bamboo Pole, Stereotype’s most downloaded song, and Takes One to Know.

Equal parts ambient texture and aggressive groove, the selections from Sabi, Dreams and Robotet, are angular and tranquil, summarizing the artist’s take on the Japanese concept is was named after. Thomas further defines the solitary concept by playing all the instruments as well as engineering and producing all his songs.

Philip's first post-Mission to Mars solo record is a 12-song story about the mystery of identity and life's journey. Hear his personal selections, The Bar, Pt. 1 and One Step, and feel what he feels. Oh, and it rocks.

Recorded by Tyler Riggs of Xila/Jesus Burger/die kapitalist pig fame, Autopilot’s Pine Box Town and Bones are a precursor and sneak peek into the studio album to be released early next year.

Oh, and an old favorite of Stereotype’s just needed to be heard again. Knee Jerk Reactions incredible rock and funk roll of Flux and in glorious falsetto, Super Collider.
