Jackson Hewitt Announces 2006 Tax Season Reporting Schedule

PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 3 — Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. (NYSE: JTX) announced today its schedule for reporting 2006 tax season results.
Wednesday, March 1, 2006:
Before the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, Jackson Hewitt will issue a press release reporting financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended January 31, 2006. At 11:00 a.m. on the same day, Michael Lister, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Mark Heimbouch, Chief Financial Officer, will host an analyst conference call to discuss the financial results and provide insight into the early tax season.
Monday, March 13, 2006:
Before the market opens, Jackson Hewitt will issue a press release reporting early-season tax filing results for the year-to-date period ended February 28, 2006.
Thursday, May 11, 2006:
After the market closes, Jackson Hewitt will issue a press release reporting full-season tax filing results for the year-to-date period ended April 17, 2006.
Thursday, June 1, 2006:
Before the market opens, Jackson Hewitt will issue a press release reporting full-year fiscal 2006 results. On the same day, Michael Lister, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Mark Heimbouch, Chief Financial Officer, will host an analyst conference call to discuss the fiscal year results and the 2006 tax filing season.
