OVERVIEW OF FINDINGS
Top of the league and best site overall was Daily Mail and General Trust (www.dmgt.co.uk)). At the bottom of the table representing the poorest site overall was Diageo (www.diageo.com).
1.1 Website Function
 1 site was error free this month Next (www.next.co.uk) and 33 sites had 10 errors or less. The site with the highest number of error occurrences in December was British American Tobacco (www.bat.com) with over 9,000.
1.2 Website Compliance
 HTML – The sites with the lowest number of warnings [HTML standards compliance with the requirements laid down by W3C and IETF] was Daily Mail and General Trust (www.dmgt.co.uk) with 5. Diageo (www.diageo.com) had the poorest HTML, with nearly 93,700 failures.
 Accessibility – 9 sites scored 100% and 39 sites scored 90%+ on the automated tests looking at the requirements of Priority 1 (A) accessibility. 8 sites had less than 1% compliance when tested against the mandatory requirements for Priority 1 accessibility.

 The site with the slowest response time was United Utilities (www.unitedutilities.com); The BOC Group (www.boc.com) had the fastest response time, and was 203 times faster than Doncaster.
