Homosassa, Fla. — In just five short years Paul Dragon has made history in the barter industry with his innovative DoBarter on Line software.

Dragon has announced a convention of barter exchange owners to celebrate the success of DoBarter, and to make plans for additional growth in the future. The convention will be held in Orlando April 28 - 30, 2006.

"We want to thank the more than 150 barter exchanges that use DoBarter on Line software and the 220 exchanges that belong to the International Barter Alliance. We have come a long way in just five years," said Dragon, creator of the unique on-line barter system.

A barter exchange from anywhere in the world can use the DoBarter on Line software to manage all barter selling and buying, not only within that exchange, but with the members of any of the other 150 plus exchanges using the on-line service created by Dragon.

DoBarter has become the world leader in barter software, with 100 percent uninterrupted service. The company has a full-time programming staff continually performing software development to improve what has already become the leading on-line barter program.

"The owners of our member barter exchanges always have direct access to the programmers. This is a key to success and business growth for them. We maintain servers located in both Florida and Texas to insure our system always stays on-line. We have never gone down since the day we began five years ago," said Dargon.

The combined membership of the trade exchanges using the DoBarter system is now in excess of over 40,000 who bring a total of more than 20,000 hits to the program every day, making it the most active barter software in the industry.

Dragon said he created the program to give small, local barter exchanges the ability to allow their members to trade with each other and expand their opportunities, which gives greater value to their barter exchange membership.

"By joining the International Barter Alliance for barter company to barter company trading, your members gain access to offerings from all member barter exchanges. This greatly increases the amount of goods and services your exchange can offer members. Now a small exchange of perhaps only a few hundred can access offerings from tens of thousands of individual members of each exchange," explained Dragon.

Owners of the existing exchanges, as well as owners of exchanges who are considering using the DoBarter on Line service are planning to meet at the convention, according to Dragon. In addition to training, question and answer sessions, and group discussions about future growth, the convention will also feature a golf tournament, a barter auction, and barter trade tables.

"The future of barter has never been better," said Dragon. "We continually have over $80,000 million in good and services listed for trade in the DoBarter system, and that number is steadily growing. Barter is flourishing now that we have enabled small local barter exchanges to become part of a global trading community."
