Online magazine Empowerment4Women (http://www.empowerment4women.org) launches today with a brand-new look, and an all-new site design and format.

After more than four years in the internet publishing community, popular online feminist magazine Empowerment4Women has made some significant changes, modifying the site's layout and aesthetics, as well as adding some fresh features and editorial departments. Most of the updates are in reponse to requests from readers who, as the magazine continued to grow, wanted more material, as well as an easier way to navigate the site's content. Now, Empowerment4Women readers can enjoy a new contemporary design, additional content and features, and an easier-to-navigate site and menu system.

The new Empowerment4Women layout features five main sections:

Arts: Expression (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and other forms of creative expression), Laugh (humorous contributions), and Gallery (featuring the life and work of the issue's cover artist)

Culture: Real Life (personal reflections about 'real life' issues, events, and people), Respect (profiles of empowered individuals and everyday sheroes); and Feminista! (feminist perspectives on the world-at-large)

Entertainment: Reviews; Interviews; and Karma (exclusive contests and promotions)

Empowerment: Self (self-improvement perspectives, advice, and articles), Spirit (activism resources), and Support (resources, facts, and information for those in need)

Community: Shop (trusted online partners, affiliates, and sponsors) and Links. Blogs are coming soon, with an expected launch in Spring 2006

Additional site enhancements now include a site search function, easy-to-navigate archives and menus, and a free opt-in e-mail newsletter.

About Empowerment4Women

Empowerment4Women (http://www.empowerment4women.org) is a free online magazine dedicated to bringing the basic tenets of feminism to women and men of all ages and backgrounds.

We are here to argue with the societal norm, which depicts those who value feminist ideals as anarchistic, angry and radical. Empowered women are sometimes angry, sometimes radical and, even, sometimes anarchistic. But empowered women also know that feminism can be as big as a globally-choreographed movement or as small as the individual realization that something simply isn't … quite right.

Empowerment4Women's mission is to present feminist-hearted material without the shock factor. Rather, we present that which is reality, and then let our readership sit back and develop their own conclusions. After all, an empowered woman is, above all things, a woman who knows how to think for herself.

We are not a revolution, but we dream that each and every one of our readers will create his or her own. Because empowered individuals learn to create their own destinies—and then invite others to join in.

Empowerment4Women. It's about you. It's about time.
