Andrew L. Azer Named Audit Supervisor at Rodman & Rodman, P .C. of Newton

DATELINE: NEWTON, MASS… Rodman & Rodman, P.C., providers of accounting, tax and business services to small and medium-sized companies throughout New England, has recently appointed Andrew L. Azer as Audit Supervisor. Rodman & Rodman is located in Newton, Mass.

In his new role as Audit Supervisor at Rodman & Rodman, Azer will oversee staff in client audits, reviews and compilations; prepare related financial statements and review tax returns.

For four years previous to joining Rodman & Rodman, Azer was the Audit Supervisor for Sharkansky & Company, LLP of Brockton. Prior to that, he was a Senior Tax Accountant at Canby, Maloney & Co., Inc. of Framingham. Azer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College in Waltham as well as a Master’s Certificate in Financial Planning from Bentley College.

Azer is the author of “Tax on Capital Gain Drops, but Impact is still Five Years Away”, published in the Boston Business Journal as well as “Planning can lead to Maximum Savings on Capital-Gains Tax” which was featured in the Metrowest Daily News.

Azer is a life-long resident of Randolph, Massachusetts, where he is very active in the town, serving on the Town of Randolph Finance Committee and Temple Beth Am, where he is currently Vice-President.
