G-Notes, a New Christian Devotional and Bible Study Guide for all Who Hunger and Thirst for God's Truth

G-Notes, written by new Christian author Van Davis, is a straightforward devotional that is focused entirely on Christ as the only way to salvation. There are many books on the market that promote pleasing God, but often leave Christ out of the equation. Of the few that speak of Christ, many do not give voice to the Holy Spirit and His part in leading and guiding us. We are left to believe that Heaven is still attainable through our own efforts, through our own goals and our own choices. These are dead end pathways and empty promises that only serve the enemy's cause. G-Notes looks at verses and passages that show us the Trinity as a whole and how we are to embrace our salvation. It is a devotional written to encourage bible study.

Each day in G-Notes is devoted to a different verse or passage. The aspect of the Trinity is threaded throughout the 40-day devotional, giving the reader the encouragement to know that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to be our salvation. Given this fact and through surrendering our lives to Jesus and receiving God's pledge, the Holy Spirit, as our Heavenly guarantee and our guide, this really is the first step in what we must do to please God.

Geared toward the college-educated and highly knowledgeable reader, G-Notes will encourage and support new and mature Christians in strengthening their obedience to God and deepening their understanding of God's Word. It is also my prayer that non-believers will answer God's callings, invitations, and wooing of them to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. In today's society of easy-believism and postmodernity, G-Notes stands as a lighthouse through which God shines His light to illuminate the Scriptures and to focus the mind on His Truth.
