MeritTrac Services appoints Prasanna K as CFO
Bangalore, March 8, 2006: MeritTrac Services Pvt. Ltd., India’s largest skills assessment company and a leading provider of RPO services today announced the appointment of Prasanna K as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this newly created position Prasanna will be responsible for financial strategy formulation, guiding the senior management on various finance related aspects and ensuring prudent cash management as MeritTrac accelerates for exponential growth.
Welcoming the new CFO, Madan Padaki, Co-Founder and Director, MeritTrac Services said, “Prasanna brings with him a rich suite of experience in financial processes and diverse exposure gained through stints across sectors. He has this uncanny knack of blending traditional processes to dynamic, people-oriented businesses. He would be a key member of the management team which would drive the next level of growth for MeritTrac Services.”

A product of REC (Suratkal), Prasanna went on to acquire a management qualification and is Chartered Financial Analyst. He has held senior positions with companies like Indalco, Dalmia Cements, JobsAhead &Information Technology Park Limited. At JobsAhead, he was part of the team that turned it around post the dot com burst. At ITPL, he was instrumental in the restructuring of ITPL post the acquisition of TATA’s stake by Ascendas. He was also a visiting faculty at ICFAI business school and occasionally writes on finance in leading web portals.
